Let’s Juice!

Let’s Juice!

We want to encourage  CIC’s extraordinary clients (and everyone else) to start to add juicing into their daily regimen of good health promoters.

Let’s face it, juicing is one of the top detoxifiers. We like to call raw foods, especially raw, fresh, extracted juice from fruits and vegetables, the soap inside our bodies! Keep in mind the goal here is not to go all raw. Healthy, clean cells are the goal. Ridding the body of waste matter is what creates healthy cells. Juice ing is extremely helpful in pulling waste matter out of the cells, but we need cooked foods as well. All raw will pull too much waste matter from cells at once into the bloodstream and eliminative organs. If organs are not strong enough to push those toxins out of the body or if they cannot keep up with the influx of waste that is released, toxins will be reabsorbed by the body causing auto-intoxication. Basically the body retoxifies itself. We do not want to detoxify to retoxify. So we never want to overdo! The more raw the more colonics needed.

At CIC, we like to go raw all day which includes 1-2 fresh extracted juices and than include cooked foods into a well balanced clean dinner. Back to juicing–why juice (extracting of only juice and discarding of fiberous pulp) instead of eating the vegetables? Well, to eat the massive amounts of fresh fruit and vegetables and get all the vitamin, minerals, chlorophyll and enzymes that go a glass of juice would take lots of time and chewing. Juicing, rather than eating, is the number one concentrated vitamin pill in drinking form that there is. The body does not need to break down the fiber and the juice goes directly into the bloodstream like an intravenous injection. Green juices are pure organic hydration and oxygenation. We stress to go fresh and organic when possible. Even if bottled fruit juices claims to be fresh pressed, do not be fooled by tricky wording. Think of your body first; put nothing but the best in it. We are working so hard to pull out the toxic build up with colonics, oxygen steam saunas, and raw foods, so do not repollute your body. Get crazy particular about what goes in your moth. Go to a juice bar, but don’t assume all that you may find there is good for you. Invest in a quality juicer, at CIC our favorite one is the Breville JE98XL for its power and ease of cleaning afterwords! If you are cleaning those cells by juicing and going raw, you need to take the garbage out of the body! Put it this way, if you are cleaning your home but left heaps of garbage bags piled in every room, how clean would your home really be? Your organs need extra help to eliminate the waste the raw and juicing has put in garbage bags. Getting a colonic is calling in the waste management specialists to clean out all the garbage bags of toxic waste the raw foods and juicing has loosened before it has a chance to reabsorb!

Be creative and try any juice recipe you can think of. A variety of colors, fruit and vegetables of all sorts combined. Head over to Stanley’s Fruit Market located at: 1558 N. Elston Ave. for reasonably priced organics. They always have a good selection of organic, load up once a week on everything they have. I like to start with a fruit juice in the AM and move unto a vegetable juice for lunch. Of course, with raw snacks added in between juices such as an avocado, cut veggies dipped in hummus, nice salad, raw nuts.  Below is a list of some of our favorite creations at CIC to give a try!
